Mr. Chase graduated from Mount Royal College in 1978 with a diploma in Petroleum Land Management and subsequently from the University of Calgary in 1988, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Petroleum Land Management) with distinction.
Mr. Chase has over 26 years of petroleum land management experience, three years of gas and liquids marketing experience and has spent the last several years organizing and developing the business of several private corporations, including Spitfire Exploration Ltd. (acquired by Spitfire Energy Ltd. in March 2005) and Kanduit Electric Ltd. (commercial electrical contractors). Mr. Chase has held public company directorships of Green River Petroleum Inc. from 1998 to 1999 and Genesis Exploration Ltd. in 1994, during which periods these companies were listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange. Mr. Chase has negotiated numerous equity, debt and joint venture transactions resulting in the drilling of hundreds of wells in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and numerous basins in the USA.
In addition, Mr. Chase was formerly the President of Green River Petroleum (USA) Inc., the Vice President, Land, of Canadian Conquest Exploration Inc. and was a manager or senior professional for Amber Energy Ltd., Alberta Energy Company, Suncor Inc. and Carlyle Eagle Petroleum Inc.
Mr. Chase is entrepreneurial in the building of Spitfire Energy Ltd. as one of its founders and visionaries. Management currently owns nearly 50% of Spitfire Energy Ltd., and each one of the team is strongly motivated to ensure its success and long term profitability. Management spends each dollar as if it were their own, ensuring that Spitfire's investors best interests are respected. Management plans to build a significant company using the drill bit to find new reserves and their experience to manage them efficiently. They are patient in this process to ensure minimal dilution and competitive advantage.

Dan Zivkusic, CMA VP Finance and CFO
Accounting and Joint Operations
Mr. Zivkusic graduated from Mount Royal College in 1985 with a diploma in Business Administration. He obtained his Certified Management Accountant Designation from the Society of Management Accountants in 1991.
Dan has over 21 years of finance and management experience, the last eight years of which was spent in the oil field services sector with BJ Services, the largest pressure pumping company in the Canadian market, and over 11 years in the utility sector with TransAlta Utilities which operated generation, transmission and distribution Facilities.
Formerly the Controller with BJ Services Company Canada, Mr. Zivkusic held the overall responsibility for the preparation and integrity of the financial information. In this role, he gained extensive experience in delivering market share analysis, competitive benchmarking, operating and capital business plans, statutory reporting, management reports and scorecards.
More recent successes include implementing resources and providing leadership for the redesign of processes, procedures and information systems to strengthen internal control and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. This experience will transition Spitfire Energy comfortably into the new world of Corporate Compliance and Governance.
Dan has held many various financial leadership responsibilities over his career. This leadership along with his strong motivation will contribute to the growth and profitability of Spitfire Energy. Greg Kondro, P. Eng. VP Operations and COO
Operations
An executive with 26 years of proven leadership capabilities and a successful track record of low-cost resource exploitation and development, Greg has established a reputation for having strong technical skills, a bottom line focus on profit and a knack for practical straightforward approaches and solutions. Greg exhibits a style which injects enthusiasm and energy into projects and personnel.
Greg has successfully managed and completed multi-million multi-faceted projects, which include drilling/completion, facility development, infrastructure set-up and operations domestically and internationally. Greg also has experience in both oil/gas and sweet/sour environments and extremely remote areas and thorough knowledge of full cycle field development requirements from all technical and administrative aspects.
Greg graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering in 1981 and spent 18 years with Ocelot Industries/Energy in various capacities, the last five years as VP Production. Greg then spent seven years with Rosetta Exploration as VP Operations prior to joining Spitfire in May of 2006.
Greg is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan.

Cathy Strange, B.Sc.
Chief Geologist
Mrs. Strange received a B.Sc. (Geology) from the University of Calgary in 1985. She started her career as a geologist with Canterra Energy/Husky Oil Ltd. After spending a number of successful years with Husky, she moved on to work at Elk Point Resources, and more recently, Discovery Drilling Funds. Her 21 years of experience has resulted in numerous discoveries. Her career has focused on the exploration and development of plays throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and portions of the United States, including several years pursuing prospects in the foothills of Alberta and British Columbia.

Chris DeBuhr, Ph.D Geology
Geologist
Mr. DeBuhr earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology (with Honours) from the University of California in 1993, and subsequently earned his Ph.D in Geology from the University of Calgary in 1999. He began his geological career as a petrologist in the petrographic services sector of the oil and gas industry, evaluating reservoir quality and sensitivity in core and drill cuttings from across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and around the world, and providing recommendations on appropriate drilling and completion strategies based on his observations. Mr. DeBuhr has been with Spitfire Energy since 2004, and spends much of his time on the geology and geophysics of its core operating properties in SW Saskatchewan.

Wayne Forrest, B.Sc. BA
Accounting
Mr. Forrest graduated from the University of Tulsa (TU) in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting.
Between 1968 and 1970, Mr. Forrest served in the United States Marine Corp, which included a tour of duty in Vietnam.
Wayne has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, starting in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Pan American Petroleum Company (later named Amoco Production Co.) in January 1971.
In late 1979, Mr. Forrest joined WhitMar Exploration Company as their Assistant Controller. In early 1981, Wayne went to work in Oklahoma City for a small Canadian firm called Carlyle Petroleum (later named Carlyle Eagle) as their Controller - U.S, Operations. In 1984 Carlyle sold all their U.S. properties and Wayne became an independent consultant specializing in auditing oil & gas joint ventures.
In 1989, Mr. Forrest joined Torch Energy Advisors in Houston as a Senior Joint Interest Auditor, and after a number of promotions became their VP of Financial Due-Diligence in 1993. Following a transaction between Torch and Gulf Canada Resources in early 1995, Wayne became the Director of Internal Audit for Gulf Canada and relocated to Calgary. He headed Gulf's worldwide Internal Audit Activities until Conoco Inc. purchased Gulf in 2001.
In early 2003, Mr. Forrest started JWAC Consulting Services Ltd., supplying various audit related services to the oil & gas industry with a focus on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. In February 2003, Wayne joined Spitfire Exploration Ltd. as its VP of Finance.
Wayne has been a member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) since 1980 and a member of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Canada (PASC) since 1995. Mr. Forrest served five years on the Board of Directors and was the president of PASC in 2000-2001. He has also been an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) since 1995.
